The only fish I like are the ones I bring to the surface to breath this fresh Arkansas air. What do you mean they don't breath air?
Screw the fish... Farve's okay, but I'm glad he is gone.

why would any true Jets fan hate Brett Favre?

the trade for Favre signaled the end of the Chad and Mangini Era, and brought about the Rex and Sanchez Era.

Brett Favre is a mother****in' hero

Yeah, I would say the "hatred" for Favre is minimal, to be sure. Not to mention, it's really stupid, but to each his own.

The guy busted his ass to win in NY -- it didn't work out because he got hurt and Mangini forgot how to coach ... if that makes you hate the guy, so be it.

Like some have already mentioned, the Favre deal has really turned out in our favor this season. I would venture to say that those who hate Favre now, hated him before he got here.

I hate fish. Crustaceans, that's a whole different ball game. Baked Ziti isn't
bad either, but baked stuffed shells is tops in my book.

I can't hate Favre. He was the quarterback for the first Jets game I saw live.

I'm still a little shell-shocked from last season - but in time last year will blend in with the other years of disappointment.

Can't take the memory of my first game away from me though.

Also, to the point that some other posters here have made... the Favre season may very well mark the END of the Same Old Jets. He helped us get over that hump. If we end up making good on the promises of Rex, the franchise and the fans should always reflect upon the Favre season as the straw that broke the camels back. Everything happens for a reason...

The Dolphins on the other hand... see below.

I actually like Favre. He's fun, enthusiastic, exciting and good. He got hurt last year with the Jets. The coach knew it and played him. Not Favre's fault.
Also, he didn't sue anyone to play for the Jets. They asked him.
He's a good ole boy. So are the Mannings, Joe Namath and Terry Bradshaw. Characters all. Well, not Eli.
