Hobson, Barton, Vilma are violent young backers.

Cowart may or may not be dominant again but he will make the tackle and a move to 3-4 ILB can only help.

Jason Glenn is capable depth and a firey player

contract year Johnny Abe and Bryan Thomas will be rotating weak edge pass rushers, in the LT impact mold...

McClover is quick as hell, Ryan Myers is kicking butt in NFLe, Kenyatta was great on specials last year, Bautovich, Brown and other wild cards...

dare we say the JETS LB unit formerly a team weakness could be on the verge of becoming a super unit? :o

agree or disagree? why?

I wish you had included some middle ground in your poll.

I'm thrilled that we won't have LBs moving at a glacier's pace, but I'm worried about inexperience, new DC and the annual new system.

Potentially, this could be a hell of a unit. I'll need to see something before making pronouncements, though.

Had to select disagree because there was nothing in the middle. I won't go so far as to call thema superunit, but I think they will defnitely be very good.

They have what looks like the makings of a very good unit of course I remember people saying the same thing about our unit last year and they still gave up 150 yards rushing per game so dominent is a stretch right now ,how about asking this question after the 4th game of the reg. season then we`ll have a better idea.....

It has the makings of a good solid nfl LB core, nothing super though.

Best unit in years? Yes. Compared to other linebacking cores in the NFL not a superunit.

Hobson and Vilma need to get into a barking contest. Like junkyard dogs.

Whenver I think about Jets linebackers, I remember being at the home opener against the Colts three years ago with Jet Moses.

I swear Moses shouted at least a dozen times. "You SUCK, Farrior! I blame this whole thing on YOU!"

He had other prime quotes as we left the stadium. Remember, Moses?

Couldnt agree any more with that. This unit has potential, theres no doubt about it, but Im holding my judgement until the games start in September.
