August 7th is a Saturday.
The Jets will be practicing against Big Blue at SUNY-Albany, the Giants summer training camp.
I really don't [i]hate[/i] the Giants but I am sick of all their wall-to-wall fans around here. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Capitalland area Jets fans - there are quite a few of us!!
What I don't understand is why the Jets team is leaving Hempstead to come up for two practice sessions and returning the same day. The round trip is one thing but if you add two sessions the players will easily be exhausted for a while.
P.S. If you come up, try to go to the races-atmosphere at Saratoga as well!! The Mara family (and maybe even the Tuna) generally hang there, too.
