Interesting how there are so few good memories to be found for the JETS and GIANTS STADIUM. Good thing we'll be in basically the same location for the only the next 99 years!!!..........

Enough with that garbage. Blame them for the west side, yes. But not for Woody's unforgivable lack of any backup plan. |

Blame Woody for not buying the land from the MTA when it was there for the taking at a discount no matter what the state said or did..He could have easily done what Ratner did in Brooklyn and got private investors to make up for the loss of the 300 million from the state. Then he was offered the same funding from the state and City to build a retactible roof stadium for the Jets at Flushing Meadow Park, to go along with the Tennis Center and Citi Field..The state was totally on board with it. Instead he caved in, like the weak *ss he is to Tagliabue and the Mara's, as he walked away with his tail between his legs to financial doom for the Jets, and a continued lack of a true loyal fan base at their home games for the next 99 years. Woody can't operate an outhouse never mind an 1B stadium.Wait till next year when home games will be blacked out. |
