I called the ticket office this afternoon and was told that they still haven't figured anything out yet, but would be receiving an email at some point. This is not consistent with the people who called yesterday and were told they would hear today.
It's a fair point.
From the team's perspective, I suppose, they have more ticket holders than they have SB tix, so they have to figure out the best way to do it. If I were the Jets, I'd probably weight PSLs, but not automatically give tix because of them. Existing STH who buy them get more ping-pong balls in the lottery or whatever. But I would not, in any circumstance, give Super Bowl tix to somebody who was not a STH this season.
I would not count PSLs toward anything. They are for next year. What happens if a person gets SB tix then in a couple of months cannot payoff the remainder of the PSL due to some unforeseen economic circumstance? How is that fair? This year is this year and next year is next year. That is the fairest way. |

they definitely SHOULD kick out ALL non renewers from the pool of fans eligible for the allocation.
you don't want to go to games anymore? Fine, start with the Superbowl |

it seems like the jets will have to upset one group- seniority people (that are done after this season) or new stadium people.
they will end up doing it according to the new stadium and PSLs: -they should care more about their customers of the future -not worry about angry long time season ticket holders who are not coming back anyway |

why should they include those who have bailed on them in 2010 in a Superbowl lottery?
do they really want to invite that greenfaced old a$$clown and his PSL's Go to Hell sign to a Superbowl game? of course not |
