Last 2 drives of the half.
It was herm edwards/eric mangini ball. They could have went for the kill but they put jones in and he sucks. You cant do that against a peyton manning team. This could bite us in the ass and was inexcusable.

I know what you're saying, but I'm fine with it. Better to have Greene fresh for the 2nd half and trucking guys for the rest of the game.

I felt the same exact way. Here's where Schottenheimer fcuked up big time in my opinion, where 14 additional points total could have been had: 1st Qtr 1st-10, NYJ29 12:50 T. Jones rushed to the right for 3 yard gain 2nd-7, NYJ32 12:17 T. Jones rushed up the middle for 1 yard gain 3rd-6, NYJ33 11:34 M. Sanchez passed to J. Cotchery to the right for 14 yard gain 1st-10, NYJ47 11:24 M. Sanchez rushed up the middle for 2 yard gain 2nd-8, NYJ49 10:49 S. Greene rushed to the right for 7 yard gain 3rd-1, IND44 10:11 S. Greene rushed to the right for 2 yard gain 1st-10, IND42 9:29 M. Sanchez passed to B. Edwards to the right for 20 yard gain 1st-10, IND22 8:43 S. Greene rushed to the right for 2 yard loss 2nd-12, IND24 7:58 S. Greene rushed up the middle for 3 yard loss 3rd-15, IND27 7:18 M. Sanchez passed to B. talk about being prophetic. one of the many contributing factors to today's loss, have to have to have to have to score points against that team when you get chances. to ***** foot those last 2 series and settle for a field goal, and note even try with a minute left is ridiculous, and that falls at Rex's feet. hes the head coach. he sets policy. he set the policy of being happy to be up by 4, instead of being happy to be up by 11 by at least trying. very disappointing from Rex. just when you think you have enough points, you probably need a LOt more against the Colts. look no further than 06 AFC Champ game, and Colts Chowds this year, among god knows how many others. sigh |
