15-1 is very respectable to begin a season...this is an early indication that many outside Jets nation believe the Jets will be a legitimate contender next season...

Texans at 40-1 looks like the best value. plus Washington at 50-1 is great if uncapped year comes off and Snyder spends $100 million on new players for Shanahan.

I don't get it. So the good news is there's only 10 teams with as good or better odds than the Jets to win the Superbowl?

Two weeks ago we were 15-1 to win the AFC. These seem like awful odds.

We were one of the final four team is football. A team we just beat on the road in the playoffs has 8-1 odds. How the F*CK are these good odds? The haters keep hating.

they're probably thinking sophomore slump for Sanchez, Greene and Rex.

yes really, why not? i'm talking about best value picks compared to those odds. not the actual odds of them winning it.

and no, i don't ever bet, unless you want to count fantasy football, which i think i might retire. i hated fantasy every moment of it this season (and i got 2nd place).

Nobody "hates" the Jets.

The majority of people just realize they are no where as good as you guys make them out to be on this message board.

Hell, the Jets aren't even the favorites to win the AFCE.

Dude, the Jets passing game was ranked 31st in the NFL this past year.

So if they fall to 32nd, you will consider that a sophomore slump for Sanchez?

Yes. and when our passing game moves to a respectable 28th we will call it a break out second season

part of the reason there are that many teams with good odds is because the NFC is such a wide open conference...in the AFC there are only 4 teams with better odds...going into this year the jets were probably close to 40-1 or 50-1 odds so to be down to 15-1 in just 1 year is improvement if you ask me

Good luck trying to win a championship with the 28th ranked passing game in the NFL.

fair enough. but who would have thought you could get to AFCCG with the 31st?

Hell who would have thought someone could go into NE and beat them by completing 4 passes for 34 yards!

That's my point.

Jets can't come back when they fall behind by 10 or more points.

The NFL is a passing league, just look at the two teams that are playing in the Super Bowl.
