Best way is upload to a photo hosting site such as [url]http://photobucket.com/[/url] or [url]http://www.imageshack.us/index.php[/url]

Whichever one you use will generate a URL after you upload, you need to copy the entire thing and paste it into one of your posts here, in between these tags like below:

[img] your url goes here [/img]

There's also a button that you can hit and then paste into the prompt, looks like this ----> [IMG]http://www.jetsinsider.com/forums/images_greenish/editor/insertimage.gif[/IMG]

If its an image uve found on "google images", etc, you can also just copy/paste the address in ur browser, and like Buzzsaw said, just click the icon and paste it in said box.

Make sure you dont have 2 "http://" 's at the beginning.

If that makes any sense.:P

Since we are it, I also have a how to question. How do you paste in a moving picture avatar? Thanks.

Animated .gifs can only be placed in your sig, not avatar. Follow same directions as above, copy url for the .gif, go to Edit Options > Edit Signature, hit the Insert Image prompt and paste in url.
