Punch em in the Mouth Mock Offseason

With an attitude like that running the team, I think I can see some probably developments up coming in the draft. In short, I think we go Defense, and I think we go big and aggressive.

FA sign: Adalius Thomas, L.Coles

draft:

1. Terence Cody DT - Alabama
(parcells planet theory is still law, esp with Rex)
2. Ricky Sapp OLB - Clemson
(fierce pass rusher with experience standing up)
4. Blair White WR - Michigan State
(rising prospect with pro exp and great attitude)
5. Darrell Stuckey S - Kansas
(great tackler/hustler to throw into the open competition)
6. Kevin Haslam G/T - Rutgers
(solid, versatile, home grown Oline Depth)
7. Walter McFadden CB - Auburn
(my fave sleeper in the draft at CB)
Camp Roster:

Qb - Sanchize
RB - Greene, LT, Leon, Washington, Woodhead
FB - TRich, J.Davis
WR - Braylon, Cotch, Coles, White, Smith, Clowney, Allison
TE - Keller, Hartsock, Mulligan
OT - Woody, Brick, Hunter, Turkovich
G - Moore, Faneca, Haslam, Slauson, Turner
C - Mangold

DE - Ellis, DeVito, Pitoitua, Wright
DT - Jenks, Pouha, Cody

OLB - B.Thomas, Pace, Sapp, VG, Westerman
ILB - Scott, Harris, A.Thomas, Cummings

CB - Revis, Cromartie, Lowery, Coleman, Cole, McFadden
S - Leonhard, Pool, Smith, Stuckey

Sprinkle in a few UDFA and you have our Super Bowl contending roster...

Thoughts?

I could live with this, but I thought Blair White was more of a late 2nd/early 3rd pick. He sounds awesome and I'd love to have him, I'm not just not optimistic he'd fall to us in the 4th. Also, he went to Michigan State, not UM.

CB's is a HUGH need!! The jets cannot go into the season with these CB's backing up the starters. The Jets imo need two more decent CB's. 1 early in the draft and 1 cap casualty.. VETERAN!!!

Lowery
Coleman cant trust
Cole cant trust
7th rd. pick? McFadden! WHO? cant trust

Blair White is going to fall anywhere b/t 3-5th from what ive read. There is a deep WR pool, so it really depends on who likes who where.

Now, for my comeback.

First off, I don't feel we need to take a CB/S high in the draft like everyone is saying, and there definitely isnt a guaranteed 'trustworthy CB' after the 1st round, or in FA right now.

I think with Cody, and Sapp, we are destined to attack on Def with a relentless pass rush. I think the other picks add depth. White would be a great pick if he is there in the fourth. Haslam provides depth and a possible future.

The rest is just defense, defense, defense.

Thomas at Inside LB?

Please NO to Lav Coles... and no to Woodhead.

No Full Back on your list? T Rich or Jason Davis.
