Because we cant pay Braylon and Marshall. And having Edwards and Marshall isnt good for the team, so unless we trade BE were not getting Marshall.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of a team in the NFL that has THREE #1 wide receivers. It's just wasteful. Not necessary. Especially for a team like the Jets committed to the run. And the Jets still are if we read Rex's comments of just this week.

I'd be careful with your extrapolations. DeVito is perfect in the role he played last year. If you start relying on a guy like him too much, you get into trouble. A Dline with Devito and Pouha coming in in a rotation, is quite strong. A Dline with them as the starters, is less so.

I agree however, DeVito is a borderline starter based on his performance last season which was very good. The question is whether or not he can keep that up if given full time starter duty and that is where no one can give any real answer. If he can then we have a good starter if not then we suffer.
