Well dude what have the Jets done?........their drafts have been so good you finally made it to a AFCCG only to lose. NOW you guys act like you've really done something when you haven't dude, LMAO! What have the Jets won? The Jets only made it to the post season because the Colts let you only to know you'd be a absolute out against them in the playoffs. NOBODY is afraid of the Jets. |

What a shame..Tebow is such a nice guy, I would hate for our defense to have to pound him in the ground 2x a year if Tom Brady Bunch got hurt again

If this is not a smoke screen, Done as a favor either to Sexton or Meyer, BB is
hoping to pick him up in the 3rd after a traded down. But who knows, Brady may be ready to give it up in two years and told BB that. |

+ Harris, Brad Smith, Dustin Keller, Shonn Greene, Eric Smith, Mark Sanchez, who are also starters or big time contributors. vs ummm Jarod Mayo, Brandon Meriweather, and Stephen Gostkowski? + Julian Edelman, Sebastian Vollmer and Ryan O'Callaghan. ![]() Bottom line is in the past four years since Tanny took over as GM, the Jets have drafted well and Patsies have not. No one who follows the NFL except for delusional homers like you will deny that. This despite you guys having almost twice as many draft picks as us in that span. Which is why no one here is sweating the picks that Patsies have this year. Quantity does not equal quality. Of course, how that all plays out on the field, we shall see... all this tebow talk is a joke. any other qb not named tebow who was required to change his entire throwing motion right before the draft would at best be considered a mid round pick. the hype of this guy is nearly unprecedented at this point.
there have been plenty of dual threat qbs to enter the nfl over the years. michael vick was the sickest athlete at the qb position in the history of the sport and before his bonehead decision his success was dictated by how well he threw the ball. ultimately, you are either nfl qb material or not, and often it has little to do with one's success, accomplishments or accolades in the college ranks. if you strip away the crap you have a big qb who played on a team with the best talent in the ncaas whose game is not, at this point, well suited to make the transition to the nfl. i'd rather have brad smith, he threw a nice pass in the playoffs out of the wildcat, he's a more fluid open field runner and he's also a good special teams player. if tebow doesn't develop into a legit qb he has no other value in the nfl. then there's the notion that a team could draft tebow and groom him for 3 years. this implies that his current game is so far removed from what would be required in the nfl. why would such a player be taken as high as the 2nd round in a draft this deep? there are plenty of guys i'd rather take in the 2nd round as a GM that would make me look good and wouldn't entail the scrutiny and second guessing inherent in the tebow pick. unless the team taking tebow is jax, i don't see any upside in the risk at the top of the draft. Yeah that's cool and all but where has it gotten the Jets? How many division titles? How many Super Bowl titles? Heck how many wins over say ummm 9-10 games? LMAO! Jets are a joke. During that same time with all the Patriots drafts what have they done? |
