Round 1=Trade down around 6-8 spots.
somebody that someone wants will be there at 29. we'll pick up a third round pick and still get our player. 1=Devin Mccouty cb Rutgers Satifies two needs=3rd cornerback won't beat the Colts.Pats and Saints without one.And a special teams demon both as a cover guy and as a returner. Our st sucked last year and cost us dearly. 2=Jason Worilds De/olb we need pass rusher, Jets could not near th Qb without blitzing.live by the blitz you can die by it as well other options here could be Thad Bibson or George Selvie 3.Jordon Shipley WR Texas=he'll be our slot guy, can play outside and return kicks. 4=Kurt Coleman =Safty Ohio State=this guy is going to be what Kerry Rhodes should have been.other options are Kam Chancellor, Major Wright, 5=Kyle Calloway=OT=give us depth at offensive tackle and replace Woody down the road. 6=Clifton Geathers =Dt/DE South Carolina=dude is huge, good bloodline and give us depth on the dl 7=Micky Shuler Jr=we havn"t had an all around good all around te since Micky Schuler maybe this is the way to end this streak. If it is I hope we don't have to wait for Mickey SchulerIII foor our next one. Please let me know what you think |

KC59, I like that you are trading up vs down. In the last few drafts, this regime went, and rightfully so, for quality vs quantity. It seems that this draft is deep in talent at CB,DE and WR, so I don't see the need for that , but you never know with Tannenbaum. I like your draft picks but since they picked up Cromartie I believe they will address DE first and WR second, CB later on.
I like Hughes in the 1st ( Kindle will most likely be gone), Damian Williams in the 2nd( Shipley may be gone by the time we pick). |

you to be one of the more knowledgeable people that view this site. I also thougt about Hughes as my first round pick by in this scenerio I took advantage of the opportunity to move down a little and pick up the 3rd round pick.By doing so I lost my chance to get Hughes but I like the second round pass rushers almost as much,Plus McCourty will help us in a number of ways. |

I like the players you took and agree that a trade down would be best.
But I'd like to see them trade down from 29 into the early 40s and then trade back up into the 2nd with the picks from the trade down... get 3 impact players in the 2nd and a couple depth guys in the 6th/7th. |

I'm sure they have a plan, and I'm sure we have no idea what that is. It's going to be exciting to see.

You know what would suck about a trade down? You wait and wait on Thursday, and finally it's our turn, we trade down - and now we have to wait for the next day for our first pick!
How agonizing will the overnight wait be if we trade down?
