people who have opinions as extreme as you are just as bad as the people you spout off against. there is such a thing as balance. family and self accountability are right and just things. things all should respect and hold to high standards. being religious is crap. religion is a choice, period. it should be a private practice and choice that a person makes. thre is also nothing wrong with gays in the military or learning about martin luther king. our history should encompass all things good and bad in our schools. we should learn about our founding fathers. we should not ignore what a great country they gave us. we should also not ignore their hypocrisy.

being religious as a requirement and not a choice, hating minorities, gay people, and liberals is as destructive to our society as defending those that try to kill us, badmouth us, and in the next instant beg for our help (hello france). i believe in my country for what it stands for. there are also people i don't believe in for what they stand for.
