If there is a frost you might be screwed. I decided to wait till next weekend to plant my tomatoes and herbs. Fricking cold yesterday.

Alot of small stuff in the ground. Maybe I'll put the hanging baskets, pots in the garage. If not, the basement.

We pushed it, figuring we wont be around this weekend, and Mothers day is usually the safe day to start.

Buncha crap. Wife was on a mission. Rose bushes, perennials, tons of impatience, a little corn, tomato, squash and cucumber, plus a bunch of planters filled with junk. Going to have to move whatever isnt in the ground.

We christened the baby on Saturday and my wife's relatives ruined the day for her. Of course that led into her first Mother's Day AND my birthday, so while you didn't get any on Friday night, I didn't get any yesterday, the one day a year a wife HAS to cater to her husband's whim. :steamin:

Yup. Mother's day is always the standard for getting plants in the ground. Sucks, was ready to dig the holes and start feeding them.

I'm not sure whether temps in the mid-30's will produce a frost--I think it virtually needs to be 32 or below to kill the plants.

Good luck, hope they don't die on you.
What happened?
Two of her aunts and her grandmother were 45 minutes late to the church. My wife called when they were 10 minutes late and asked where they were and before she asked if they wanted us to wait, her aunt obnoxiously said "Since you have your panties in a twist, why don't you start without us?" My wife lost it and her aunt hung up on her. Cursed her aunt off on the phone (all outside the church and out of earshot, thankfully), but didn't want to start until her grandmother got there. Baby was fed and dressed at the last minute so she'd sleep or be calm during the ceremony...IF it started on time. But my wife's fat ass aunt had to make it about her. Needless to say the baby cried the whole time and my wife's eyes were floating for most of it. Wonderful memories for our first daughter's christening. And to top it off, her grandmother didn't call yesterday to wish he a happy mother's day. So I was on damage control/consolation patrol and my cawk remained (and still remains) mighty dry.
