According to DWC, Joe McKnight would be the starter in New England.

well then that was not a very smart move on his part. what? was this a 'surprise' conditioning test?

i wouldn't stay out all night at a titty bar (as much as i'd like to though) when i had to work the next morning and be expected to function properly.

by the way, welcome to JI! the best damn J.E.T.S. Fan website/message board in the universe.

I'd say extremely disappointing, especially after many of us made excuses for McKnight in the first minicamp. He's clearly lacking the dedication that's inherent in 95% of draftees, and that's pretty ominous for his future.

That said, the league is littered with undrafted free agent RBs who become successful full-time starters, and all we're looking for is a #3 (maybe a #2 if LT is only mildly effective). If McKnight is truly the scrub he appears to be right now, the Jets can PUP him and probably find a Derrick Ward type on the scrap heap. Just a shame that the team spent a 4th on a guy who can't even make it to the practice field - he better turn it around quick.

How bad would it be if Greene got injured this season? The team put themselves in a risky situation by relying on a guy that got hurt three times last season, and also choosing to dump Jones and Leon. Hope it doesn't come back to bite us...

Interesting. That sounds like a Revis decision to me. These agents more or less made public spectacles out of Pete Kendall and Chris Baker.
