Leon, TJ, Kerry, Alan 1-0, Jets 0-1
 did the jets make a mistake? Sorry, not buying it....thoughts on last night's game:
1) The Jets Defense is dominant but was on the field entirely too long...costly penalties changed the dynamic of the game and put points on the board for Baltimore. 2) The Jets Offense was laughable...I can't remember seeing a WORSE display at a WORSE time then what I saw last night...the criticism for Sanchez last night is warranted...he looked dreadful....there was zero confidence..he didn't look down field if not once...terrible all-around offensive display... 3) shonne greene should be embarassed 4) dustin keller needs to wake the **** up. 5) NE on 6 days rest won't be easy but if you're a championship caliber team...and clearly our defense is....you have to win this game. 6) Pouha has turned into a beast for us...DeVito the next Kelly Gregg? 7) Our ST looked impressive 8) Brad Smith was GONE on that run up the gut but fitting in with the theme of the night he runs into matt mulligan and is tackled immediatly after. 9) Jets offense had zero rhythm.....looked like it was the first time they lined up together...I understand it takes time but there's really no excuse for last night's HISTORICALLY BAD performance...Rex has got to lay into Schotty and take the training wheels off...no disrespect to the ravens...excellent front 7 but where was the throws downfield testing their secondary...Sanchez looked rocked...not a good sign in the least 10) Excellent job by the fans....they were all over the ravens...a shame our offense couldn't sustain it. all in all a TERRIBLE loss...season's not over yet but you can't lose @ home if you're going for Homefield advantage...pats will be a tough out but I feel we take them  Last edited by WeskerLogan; 09-14-2010 at 12:59 PM. |

At this pace, Leon, TJ, Kerry and Alan will go 16-0 while the Jets will go 0-16.

TJ ran for 39 yards on 11 carries, a 3.5/carry average. We could have used him last night when we were mired in our run game. When needed, LT looked like "Two Yard Thomas" as some here have liked to disparage Jones. As many of us have said, getting rid of TJ and Faneca will come back to bite us on the butt.

i dont get the logic "the offense looked like crap, let's crank it up a notch"
if the offense looks like crap with the training wheels on, how does it improve if they run it more aggressively? by osmosis? i'd rather they manage their way to a 1 point loss than fling and sling their way to a 20 point blowout. |

IMO, two of our players on offense looked psyched out last night: Sanchez and Greene. All I'm saying is that Sanchez could have used a rock solid player like TJ at running back to take some pressure off him. Greene, who I like and expect/hope to be a great player, added to Mark's nightmare of a game. |

I have been watching Leon at practice all pre season and at the game Sunday. Trading him as a huge blunder. He had a broken leg, not a torn acl or something. Bones heal completely at his age.
If they dont at least win the division, Tanny needs to go. |

NONSENSE! Propoganda! LT had 62 yards on 11 carries! 5.6 a carry. You may not agree with dumping TJ but state the facts correctly please. |

Most of LT's yards were on one big play run. After that, he was getting stuffed at the line or 2-3 yard gains. |
