Please post this stuff in the seperate forums.

Playoff threads on the main page are one thing, but Sooth has seperate forums for NHL/NBA.

Thanks.

I hope not!!

I wanted that guy (Joel something or another) but if this drags on, we won't have any choice but the Hartford guy.

The last I read Sather said he is not going to coach-I do not want him to be the either GM but that is another story
But a coach will be picked before NHL draft which is sometime before the end of June. So I would expect to hear something any day.

Yeah faba,
Can't you see that the main page is for countless "how do you think the Jets will finish this year", "I'm going to London, what should I see?", "Happy Birthday", "Euro2004", threads etc.? <_<

It is in N.Y Times today that supposedly they will stick with Renney as coach. I think he can be competent as long as we give him younger and hard working players. So far we have resisted the temptation to give any free agent big contracts with Sather who knows

Renney is one of those "brainy" types. He has a system that is susposed to be successful. Nothing worked with the Rangers last year, but maybe if he starts from scratch with a bunch of kids, in camp, he can get some excitment going.

It sure has been a long 7 seasons here.

I always am optmistic no matter what-some continuity in the coaching staff and philosophy is a good thing I think for the Rangers. One of the many problems is just trying to throw guys out there with no team concept.

The Rangers HC search is like a million times worse than the Jets DC search.

Not only has it gone on longer, they've gone through more people, and still have no good answer.

Whatever...team is in bad shape...so is the league.

It would still seem strange if there is no Hockey this coming year.
