Jimmy Buffett Goes Down Down Under

Yikes! Looks like a bit of a tumble for a 64 year old... Hope he's OK.

lol

You either love him or hate him. My wife and I are huge fans and will be frequenting his former haunts on our annual trip to Key West in September.

I was thinking of "Changes in Latitude, Changes in Altitude," but I thought it'd go over the heads of anyone except Buffett fans...

As for Jimmy's music, it has really grown on me over the years. guy's a heck of a song-writer and I can appreciate the fact that he doesn't take himself too seriously. A lot of his more popular stuff is cheesey as all Hell, but he has written some really beautiful songs over the years - for me, "He Went to Paris" is one of the best story-teller type songs ever written...

And on a day like today, "Tin Cup Chalice" makes me ache for the ocean.

HA HA, of course this is coming from a Dave Matthews fan, so I guess everyone has their own. :P
