hey, this as good a place as any. Its off season, there's a lock out, there won't be any draft pick trading. Bring on the hoops discussion! And yes... right here on the Strip.

And Pitino just got his ass bounced in Round 1 by Morehead St. wow. No wonder I never win these things. Last edited by Dcat; 03-17-2011 at 04:09 PM. |

Us UCONN fans know what it's about. Louisville wasn't gonna advance anyway.
I'm a big college hoops guy and I didn't join this league cuz I'm already in quite a few others, but I like the discussion. My final 4: UConn over Pitt, and ND over Kansas...with UCONN all the way!! |

I had Richmond over Vandy. I think Richmond was the most popular upset pick in the tourney. Half the people in the JI pool had Richmond today. Not a big surprise.

No biggie in the bracket overall since most people are going to have that richmond/morehead matchup wrong anyway. |

Right now I'm 5 out of 8, but have my entire Sweet 16 still intact.

Just want to say for the record that the 4-channel system with all of the games kicks the *ss of the stupid CBS - only system of previous years. Today I got to watch the competitive moments between George Mason and Villanova and the war between Memphis and Arizona without spending the obligatory 10 minutes watching Duke dispatch some high school team nobody ever heard of.

As a die-hard UCONN fan, i hate nova as much as the next guy...but holy crap they couldn't even win ONE frikin game?
I mean ****...they're from the Big East...you'd think they'd be able to hold their own for at least the first round! I only had them beating GM, but even so, with that loss I fell from 1st to 4th in my 20 player league... |

I had Mason but only because of my superstitions about the big east. Only one team ever does well -- everybody else underperforms by at least one round. UCONN or Syracuse will end up kicking ass, hence Villanova, which should have won at least one game had to lose today. Georgetown is also dead meat today unfortunately.
