It all depends on your draft strategy, the Pats do it yearly and are praised up the ying yang for it. For the Jets draft history, you are probably correct though. Also whether the Jets like it or not Cap dollars are becoming a factor. When you are doing things like penny pinching on backups contracts you have to start thinking about contracts for drafted rookies.
