John McCain & Timothy McVeigh are not comparable in any way, shape or form...that is just ridiculous, TD
Of course not, which is why I deleted that part because i didn't want anyone to think I was equating them. But the point was just because you served in the military that doesn't mean you get to use that as an excuse and neither do people who defend him. I think it's pretty common knowledge that McCain is a d--k who thinks he's knows everything, and is willing to change any of his view points on a drop of a dime if it helps him politically. I think John McCain is a great guy? Was he wrong about Iraq? Yes. But everything else he was dead on correct. Qaddafi needs to die. Obama is the terrorist killer. We all know that no matter how you and CB spin it. |

Whatever shot he had to win went out the window. That pick is black mark on his record and I would have to guess he regrets making it, not because he lost, but because he convinced by his operatives that he had to make a big splash.. Obama was the right man for the job, McCain was not. Obviously the American people as country agreed.
LOL. This post is so full of LOL, there is a rich nougat LOL center, covered in creamy chocolate LOLZ. Remember the thread where you told me to "keep digging that hole?" Dude, you're two shovel-fulls of striking Pyongyang  Let's see, where to begin? McCain compared to McVeigh. Nice. Next, claiming McCain's VP pick "not even remotely qualified," when Palin's experience/qualifications as Governor of a state dwarfed Obama's experience/qualifications as a Junior Senator with a penchant for voting "present," and with virtually no meaningful legislation with his name on it. But LOL-est of all, the absolutely comical assertion that the measure of a man is based solely and purely upon who he picked as his running mate for VP, because as we all know, Obama clearly wins that race, by picking.... JOE BIDEN! Pure frickin comedy gold....GOLD! |
i dont think these were GOP lies
the Democrats really were soft on terror from JFK Bay of Pigs to JimmY Carter Iran Hostage to Clinton Blackhawk down and other failures the Democrats really sucked at this part of the job. Obama did better than all these guys put together.
JFK was right to not send air cover in the bay of pigs invasion. Why should we have risked nuclear war with Russia by OVERTLY getting involved in ousting Castro? Was nuclear war worth the risk to salvage the casinos and hotels for the mafia and U.S. Government?!?! What he should have done (but he was too inexperienced at the time) was cancel the mission all together. Then again, he probably would have been shot sooner.... |
First of all, f--k yourself. I stand by what I said. McCain while a war hero, is still a prick. To the way he divorced his first wife to the slection of someone not even remotely qualified to be his VP when things looked bleak in the campaign.
How do you feel about Clinton? JFK? LBJ? They didn't even have the balls or the respect to get a divorce. They just said **** it, there's some free ***** to be had. And I believe the Palin pick was a lot more complicated than just McCain making a unilateral decision to pick her. I had an opportunity to talk to a very high level Bush staffer who helped run McCain's campaign and that was the impression I got. According to this person, by the time Palin was selected, the race was all but over. |

The campaign was looking pretty damn bleak for him, which I feel led to the selection of Palin. Out of curiosity did this Bush staffer tell you McCain wanted to select his buddy Lieberman? That's what has been reported in the media. |

How long have you know any politician, like the ones you mentioned above (Clinton, JFK, LBJ) Who you judged. Since when can't we judge a politician? I think McCain is a d--k because the way he talks to people, and you can see that in interviews and in those debates with then candidate Obama, which sparked this conversation in the first place. Obama may be the most arrogant President to ever hold office. You just dont think he's a dick too because he's on your side. Every lib on this board is the same, so at least you're not alone... |

While we are stereotyping I guess every far-righty on the board is the same? Listen to ridiculous conspiracy theories from mensa candidates like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck and then regurgitate them here on the forum. By the way, I am sure the arrogance of the previous president bothered you just as much  |

When someone you don't agree with is a winner they often look arrogant. The guy has kicked our ass and is going to do it again. Competing is not arrogance. Successfully competing in a competive environment where people are trying to take you down isn’t arrogance. Last edited by Winstonbiggs; 05-06-2011 at 09:37 AM. |
