Unbelievable the amount of goals they left out there. Dempsey's at the end is probably even worse than Wondo's against Panama, which I didn't think was possible.

we can complain all day and night but a win is a win. they don't give Mexico more points for winning 5-0 in their games. Let's see how they do in the next games. I liked Lichaj out there better than Ream. Wondo is not an international player but there aren't any good US forwards it would seem. that's not really Bob Bradley's fault. It's funny cause most teams, all they have are forwards. everyone wants to be a striker it would seem... and really great teams like Brazil and Spain have world class strikers that don't even make the bench. the US has a strong (ish) midfield and a world class goalie... they will be fine.

everyone's bashing the USA for not beating these teams hands down... meanwhile Mexico trailed Guatamala 1-0 for 60 mins last night, not a peep. the more i get into soccer the more im noticing this Latin snobbery... like their football is so awesome and ours sucks.
it should also be noted, beside the 5 Mexicans busted for doping, there's also a FIFA investigation into several gold cup blowouts as fixed matches. but we don't hear about that all we hear about is how the USA sucks. Im sick of it.s |
