had a 70-300 ,and this was the very 1st time I was using this camera {any DSLR} !

what was crazy was,there wasn't any true park rangers ?, only student volunteers,who were not armed,we were briefed to be loud when walking through the woods on a dirt path {that was said to be made BY the Bear }

glad you made it ok, a kid from the Westchester area got mauled pretty bad this summer in Alaska just a couple of weeks ago.

WoW, didn't know about that , these Bear wanted thier salmon , there was a big red-salmon run going on,you'd be walking along on the way to the falls,and you hear them going through the brush to eat what they just caught in the river.
