Love all the glasses of water as they start to tremor when the drums kick in.

You and Borgo both brought up the 'dolls' at the same time and I tell... I don't listen to them often but they did alot for non-mainstream rock.
Arthur 'Killer' Kane is now a mormon librarian living in Salt Lake. Wow

Absolute genius. Agreed, everyone on those records can play.

Truth be told, I was more a fan of Johnny Thunders (and his warped, drugged out rock & roll persona) than The Dolls. I appreciate their contribution as one of the founding American glam bands, but have never connected with Johansen or most of their catalog.

EDIT: Razor, you dig Earl Slick?

Coldplay's newest. Brian Eno's (heavy-handed) influence in the first 2:30 are tolerable, the rest of the wind-out is, imho, very good:

Great call. Great artist, the whole soundtrack is terrific:

Thanks for both of these. Didn't know either and have been hitting both up on YouTube. Great stuff.

Give me lower Manhattan in 1979-81. One day. No keyboards; real drunks. Kids today would not believe the ****holes that passed for clubs. Incredible.

LOL. That's classic. Thunders is missed. Seedy as it was in spots, I miss Manhattan from those days.

Givers album is great as is Foster the People's. My two favorites of the summer I think.

I'm one of the 100 people who actually bought the record. First cut has all the elements of a Spiders' tune. Nice, rockin' vibe.
