That was a great Summer for me, WCO. Even though I'm probably a foot taller than the guy, lots of cute chicks at the pool where I was a lifeguard, in bars, and all around thought I looked like Frampton. Love that the chlorine had bleached my mid-back, curly hair blonde in spots.

RIP, Bob Mayo.

Such a timepiece from this era. With Mike Bloomfield and eventual Hendrix drummer, Buddy Miles.

WCO, guitar guru: You dig Bloomfield?

I see Tim Bogert on the lower left; and Carmine Appice on the right. Thanks for posting; Jeff Beck scooped those guys up for Beck, Bogert and Appice. Great sound

Dig him? He's the white Albert King. I love this guy; SRV should bring him a cold one every day up there in RNR Heaven.

Cactus was huge in my neighborhood. From Wiki: Cactus was initially conceived as early as late 1969 by the Vanilla Fudge rhythm section of bassist Tim Bogert and drummer Carmine Appice with guitarist Jeff Beck and Xylophone player Adele Smitchell acted as the counterpart and co-singer until singer Rod Stewart (also from the already dissolved Jeff Beck Group). However, Beck had an automobile accident and was out of the music scene for over a year and Stewart joined Ronnie Wood in Faces.

LOL. Absolutely. Bloomfield is another of those bada$$ guitarists so mant folks don't know.

Easily explainable:

In the late 70s, I was into Led Zep, Areosmith, lots of Southern rock like Skynyrd, Allman Bros, but every night, I was glued to my TV watching Donny and Marie.

That's right - Donny and Marie Osmond. Actually, just Marie. I still got the hots for her 30 yrs later. She's totally fap-worthy.

As a matter of fact, I'd bang that crazy Mormon **** right out of her.
