First-Year Hall Candidates

Tiki Barber, RB N.Y. Giants, 1997-06
Drew Bledsoe, QB New England, 1993-01; Buffalo 2002-04; Dallas, 2005-06

Marty Schottenheimer, coach Cleveland, 1984-88; Kansas City, 1989-98; Washington, 2001; San Diego, 2002-06
Will Shields, G Kansas City, 1993-06
Rod Smith, WR Denver, 1995-06

I say Parcells is the only one that gets in. Maybe Shields at some point.
I can't believe Joe Klecko is snubbed again. He is a lot more deserving than almost every name on this list. This list is a joke!

This is the First Year Candidates not the final list
Not sure if either Bill makes it this year
NFL doesn't want HOF coaches coaching it wants everyone to be retired for good. Shield could possible make the final cut but off my head others probably before him. Did Willie Roaf make it yet?

Both Bill's make it. By the way. Ketshawn Johnson's numbers are as good or better than half the receivers in HOF. The only thing lacking is the rings.
Michael Irvin=Keyshawn Johnson in numbers.
No way Tiki gets in I would vote for Martin over Tiki..
I agree. I do not think either deserves to be in. At least we got beyond that "first ballot HOF lock" nonsense last year.

Stanley Morgan's numbers are better than Keyshawn's and he's not in. Nothing is a lock.

Curtis Martin is a stone cold lock. Bettis is odds on. Agree with poster who said Parcells has come back one too many times to be voted in yet - need to be really retired. Cowher is way overrated and doesn't belong.
