I think Turkey, Portugal, Czech Rep and Croatia should be the seeded teams but I'm not sure. The draw is on thursday.
When is the round to be played?

If Yugoslavia was still a country, they'd have a pretty good team..

I guess the team you want to avoid is Portugal, though they're capable of the worst I think.

I haven't seen Montenegro or Estonia play, but I guess everyone's hoping for them. Al the others will be dogfights.

Since we're seeded too we can't draw Portugal

We'll draw Eire, Montenegro, Estonia or Bosnia. We should be able to handle any of them but the way our team has been playing (i.e. like ****) I wouldn't be surprised to be knocked out by any of them either.

LOL - imagine the Irish reaction if something like that happened again

BTW I just learned that the Irisih may pass us on account of this weekend's games, if they do then we're royally phucked.

Portugal - Czech rep - Croatia and Eire, we'll only stand a chance against Eire IMHO.

The Irisih did pass us so the above four are the seeded teams, we don't stand a chance.

LOL - you haven't seen us play since euro 2008 have you? For us to eliminate anyone but Eire would be a major upset/small miracle, eliminating Eire would just be a minor upset.

BTW I just saw the Eire-Armenia match last night how ironic is it that the sending off of the Armenian goalie was set up by a handball by the Irisih?

Yeah I'm sure

first leg in Turkey return leg in Croatia.

I'm sure they're just waiting to get back at us for that devastating loss in the Euro 2008. I've never seen anything quite like that and I don't think I ever will again.

Going down 1-0 on the 119. minute and tying it up on the 120th...man that was a fun tourney

Who plays for them?

Does Srna still play? He's very good. Not even sure if he's Croatian..

Lovren central defender plays for Lyon. Very good.

Dario Srna is in fact Croatian and he still plays for them I believe and I agree he's one of the best right backs on the continent. It's a shame he plays in the Ukranian league albeit for a ****load of money...

All I know of the top of my head is Srna, Luka Modric from Tottenham, Pletikosa the goalie, other than those guys I have no idea.

The problem isn't the Croatians, if our guys show up they are talented enough to beat anyone except probably Spain and Germany. But since 2008 they just have not bothered to show up for games. we'll see, our guys usually do play better when they're between a rock and a hard place so there's some hope but I still think the croatians should be considered the favorites.

There was a Croation dude back in Mangini times - Mr. Penguin or something do you remember? - who came around once in while I wonder what happened to him?

Wales played one man down for an hour...And we only won 9-8. Wales deserved to win.

Most pathetic qualification for a WC Final ever.

Congratulations Raoul!
On my way to meet friends to watch a replay of match.
Was the sending off of the Welshman warranted?
No tri-fecta for you!

Prepare to be bored to death.

Yes, the red card was warranted though I find a red card in rugby way too penalizing.
