It's all by trial and error, you want them to be a bit moist.

And yes, it goes into the bowl with the all the other ingredients.

I almost never cook for one meal unless it's just from me an my GF.

Any time I make sauce or gravy or chili or soup etc., I make massive amounts and freeze it.

I bought a 12 quart All-Clad pot a few years ago and I fill that bad boy up every time.

It's almost not worth the effort to make 2 or 3 cans of tomatoes, I usually do 6 or 7 or 8 cans, plus meat.

It's kind of a Sunday tradition I picked up from my Mom, just sit there and stir the pot all day whilst watching football and drinking wine.

The American band all Led Zeppelin fans should know, but most don't. Listen to Jim McCarty's chops and the tone/licks he was ripping back in 1970. Yes, 1970. Sounds as modern and fresh as what Page, Eddie, and SRV were doing decades later. And, clearly, Rusty Day heavily influenced Steve Marriott's sound and delivery.

This first Cactus record belongs in every rock fan's collection.

I love this cover of Young's classic. I'm sure at least a few will disagree. Marvin Sewell is killing it on the slide (hopefully we can agree on that at least).

Never heard "lick my sack" in a song before, but here it is! 0:48

And because it's Friday-

Wishing I was knee deep in the water somewhere
Got the blue sky breeze and it don't seem fair
Only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair

Sunrise there's a fire in the sky
Never been so happy
Never felt so high
And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise

Definitely has that vibe. Maybe all the rockers from the 70s should send the estates of John Lee, Robert Johnson, Muddy, Elmore James, and Chuck a royalty.
