The other day they were playing Raiders and I got psyched till my wife pointed something out that ruined the whole experience forever. It's one of those things you don't notice until someone points it out then it's all you can see.
So in the spirit of Christmas and sharing: There is music NON STOP. Once she said that, I couldn't get it out of my head. It's all I could fcuking hear. It's maddening. The oboes..the goddamn oboes.
I actually own the soundtrack, so I'm a big fan. :O I think it adds to the whole mood of the movie. |

The Coen's did it on purpose to make the movie as stark as possible--it's a little weird when you listen for it, and it's not there. _ |

Most 'scary' movies only startle you by going 0 to 100 decibels in a nanno second when a character opens the door. |
I actually own the soundtrack, so
I'm a big fan. :O I think it adds to the whole mood of the movie.
I think the soundtrack is good too, I just feel there are times for music, and times when it should stop. In the Indiana Jones movies, there's always a smidgen of music even if nothing's happening. |
Excellent movies
Bought In Bruges on Blu Ray a while back and literally once every month or 2 I'll pop it in and watch it again. And every time I do, I have to resist the urge to come to teh Hampur and start a thread entitled "In Bruges is just a brilliant film". I'm startled every time I watch it how good it it. _ |
