Gladiator is my favorite movie of all time.

the rest, in no particular order:

- Predator
- Braveheart
- Black Hawk Down
- The Big Lebowski
- The Hangover
- Snatch
- Terminator 2
- Se7en
- Batman Begins

again, going by the topic of listing my favorite movies. i recognize the fact that there are much "better" films out there, but the above are movies i can (and often do) watch every time they're on.

I think that's got to be the case here--it's one of the most subjective discussions ever--just like music.

My favorite--Field of Dreams--probably isn't on the top 500 of critically acclaimed best movies on anyone's list, but to me it's tops.

Liked it, didn't love it--Pacino, Deniro and Kilmer have all done much more top-10 worthy movies IMHO.

Ok, you're going to make me cry now.

Probably 5 scenes in that movie that make me misty, and my father is still alive--can't imagine watching it after he passes.

BTW, how is it that 'Caddyshack' isn't on your list. Seems mandatory.

If your list does not start with the God Father, you might NOT be a red neck, you might just be a girl!

1, God Father
2, God Father II
3, Goodfella’s
4, A Bronx Tale
5, Easy Money
6, Caddy Shack
Nothing else matters

A Christmas Carol (1951 version)
Lord of the Rings series
A Christmas Story
The Killing Fields
The Great Escape
Raiders of the Lost Ark

Snatch and Lock, Stock... very enjoyable; I love mean-looking gangstas with British accents.

yeah, Lock/Stock and RocknRolla are also great, but Snatch has the best characters.

Turkish and Tommy, Cousin Avi, Bullet-tooth Tony, Boris the Blade, Mickey the Pikey, Vinny/Sol/Tyrone, the "squeaky" dog, etc...

and of course, Brick Top, who's just AMAZING. "No thank you, Turkish. I'm sweet enough."
