Listen, the point is this.
Go back and watch the game yesterday - you'll notice it, too. Notice that i said "Seem" in the thread title. He obviously coaches. But when all Hell is breaking loose and players are making potentially season-ending mistakes on special teams and defense, and the camera cuts to Rex and he's standing there like a befuddled spectator that just rubs me the wrong way. |

I really like Rex, but do wish he would be a complete head coach.
One of his worst, perhaps the worst moment of any coach ever was when he complained about the time out that Sanchez took in the new england game 2 weeks ago. Rex and schotty were taling about taking a time out, sanchez heard them on the head set and called a time out. Rex then procalims "that was the worst time out ever taken" it was the worst time out ever taken, and it was Rex's blunder, The head coach needs to tell the OC and the QB wait till the play clock runs down and call a time out. Rex made a stupid play reemed out sanchez not realizing that the supidity was on Rex. |

Pretty sure Edcopp is referring to the times Rex is NOT at the bench screaming at his players after a bad drive... NOT trying to motivate the Oline when they suck for a couple of series'. He's not saying the guy doesnt "coach" this team, he just never leaves the white.
Go to the games for the past 3 years, you'll notice too. Because believe me, the way Rex is, if he was off the sideline near the bench, every damn camera and microphone would be right there with him!! Btw, Ellis is #93, not Douglas who is in that OLD pic... |
