You have gone down this road before. I totally appreciate the Rex criticism; he deserves a lot. But, just like our GM, you seriously overrate the talent on this team. The Jets are simply not that good. We squeak out wins against mediocre teams because... WE ARE A MEDIOCRE TEAM. If anything, Rex has overachieved with these players.

Bah; the Jets had a real shot to take control of the game (by finishing with a score; get the ball to start the 2nd half). The punt muff wrecked the chance to methodically take control; luckily the great defense held going into the half. All the time was gone by then; the offense came out cold to start 2nd. It wasn't for several series that the team got back on track.

All because of a muffed punt.


BTW, Rex coached his ass off; the defense NEVER let the momentum get away; and of course all we have are old and slow players, so Rex really coached his ass off; Pettine did as well. That was bear-wrestling for 55 minutes; Rex is the **** and you can suck it.
