+1. They said "Buh-bye". How is that not negotiating in good faith? TJ, and his fans, may not have liked the decision, but it has nothing to do with negotiating in good faith. Thomas Jones was simply a product of our offensive line during 08 and 09. What happened back in 2007, where he only rushed for I believe 1 TD? My point exactly. Mostly all backs are products of their offensive line, but none more so than Thomas Jones himself. Lets not compare an overrated Jones, to a future HOF athlete such as Tomlinson. L.T has great field vision, an outstanding speed burst, a serious threat catching out of the backfield, great hands and most importantly... Still one of the best pass protecting HBs in the game today, which is what a young QB such as Sanchez needs. Jones is no longer an every down back. Neither is L.T. But you cant question which back is a much better 3rd down back, or which back is a better match for this Jets offense. The answer to both questions would be Tomlinson.

No one had more padded stats than Jones. 102 yards on 28 carries. 2 carries for 60 yards...and well, you get the point clearly.

This guy is a class act and without a doubt would have given us more production than LT has.

What short memories. I like TJ. But many Jets fans got tired of his 2 yard runs and greasy brick hands. LT is a HOF and brings so much to this team including intangibles like his leadership, and blocking/protecting Sanchez. Jets better bring him back next year too.
