First of all, we're in first place b*tches! All of our recruits have been home runs, with Pastore being a MFing grand slam. We are the talk of the town. Pastore has been Zidane-like. 6 games, 4 goals, 2 assists...and marvelous ball skills (not the ones you're thinking of).

Lugano, we knew was a little out of shape. His first few games were TBH subpar IMO. He did however, in practically a day, become the locker room leader. Can't wait for him and Sakho (young up and coming central defender and voted best defender last year) to play at their best level.

This weekend we play Lyon, should be an awesome game.

Dirtstar => your boy Campbell is regularly subbing in around the 60th minute. Haven't seen any highlights or whatever, but he's alive and seeing playing time.

He even made the headlines

Bullet points from article:
- Praise from coach saying he's very versatile and can play anywhere up front. Un selfish player who's not your typical crazy South American dribbler. He also goes back to help construction.
- Props from teammates saying how he's picked everything up so quickly. Has already started learning french.
- Lorient has 3 Argentinians, so he has at least a few guys he can speak Spaninsh with.

good stuff.

try to watch one of his games if you get a chance. not to be a homer, but i think he's a special talent, and has what it takes to play in Europe a long time.

like the article said, he's very versatile and very unselfish. he's a very good dribbler but he's at his best when making quick decisions with the ball. he has GREAT vision and makes some sick passes.

this has actually been a problem for him with the National Team, especially the U-20 squad, as his passes and plays are always like 5 steps ahead of his teammates

We are back b****eees...

Beat the sewerbirds 3-1 last night and it should've at least been double that. We hadn't been able to beat them in 3.5 years so it was like a 52.000 strong gang rape...

Johan Elmander, Emmanuel Eboue and Felipe Melo in his first derby game scored and became true Galatasaray players. But the best one was Melo's goal, he literally scored with his balls

I don't have access to you tube but I'll link it when I get home

Good for you guys. We lost to Marseille 3-0 which ended up launching they're season.

How's Elmander doing?

He's tearing it up. I think he is our leading scorer with something like 5 goals (I hate looking at sports esp. futbol through stat goggles so I don't keep much track) but more importantly he's always the guy that runs the most, tries the hardest and overall contributes to the team even on his off days. He's a keeper.

Not very adventerous or imaginative though, when he was first signed I ran into him at Ikea eating swedish meatballs with his family friggen swede

oh and Eboue who scored the first goal last night dedicated it to me and missus Turk. very unexpected but appreciated

now I'm trying to convince Missus Turk that I have to get her pregnant before every Fenerbahce match...But she's so unreasonable it's like she thinks our superstitions have no bearing on the matches at all...hmmpf wimmenz right

BTW did you see Umut Bulut's goal for Toulouse against OL on the weekend? I'm not a fan of his and that was a once in a career lucky shot but wow...

Always liked Elmander. A bit like Lisandro who plays for Lyon, they constantly harrass defenders whether they're on offense or defense.

No I didn't see it. He got some press when he came over. I think he was Toulouse's only recruit and got off to a rocky start, though his coach only gave him praise. Have no idea how he's doing on a regular basis.

Scored game winning goal this weekend which got him off the hook for missing a few clear scoring opportunities.

2 games, 2 goals..
