Theory of a Deadman - ***** came back

There she goes again just always breaking my balls
No matter what I do somehow it's always my fault
She says I must be cheating cause I turned off my phone
But that's the only frickin' way she'll leave me alone

The trouble with girls is is never enough
They love to complain and they never shut up
They like to tell you the way it ought to be
Go on and tell the world but just don't tell me

^ Apache, as I'm not a big fan of "the Meat", how about one from his producer and arranger on Bat Out of Hell, Todd Rundgren?

I remember when that album first came out, it was different, the motorcycle guitar, Meats powerful voice and soft voice, too. Songs that talked about things that I could relate to as a 13 year old. Paradise...etc., that whole album was a masterpiece in my mind, not perfect but new, energized, and educational. in short.

Never was a big TR fan, I like a couple of his songs, commercial ones I would imagine, I know he is talented.

I respect that you like the record, as well as appreciate the production/arranging by Todd and the great band they assembled. For some reason, I never dug the album. Just sounded sappy and overwritten. But what do I know?

Anyway...Dedicated to Sam Hurd.

No. A gentle jibe at Stokes who saw the Broadway production of War Horse, where, according to JS, the horse puppets acted beautifully.

Only for fans of Pete Townshend and The Who. All others will not get it.

Sonically/harmonically, I can only imagine the buzz Pete must have experienced as he programmed the synthesizers back in the 70s and heard these results. It is lost on this modern era with technology such a major part of our lives. LONG LIVE "LIFEHOUSE".

If you don't already own them, pickup a copy of these Townshend demos.

Just saw this.

Now I am sad.

Looks like it's time for another glass of VINO

The wife and I just had Lillet--on the rocks with half-moon slice of orange--as an apéritif. Have some Bordeaux "breathing' for consumption in a few minutes.

BTW, if you see 2009 Chateau Haut Galouchey in your wine shop, buy it. 2009 is one of the great years, and this wine, at about $8/bottle, is a friggin' steal. You will swear it's a $15-20 bottle.
