Our free agents lost vs gained last year?

Ben Hartsock

Jerricho Cotchery
Braylon Edwards
Drew Coleman

We gained:
Derrick Mason
Plaxico Burress

Does this sound right? Who am i missing? (This should only include players just signed or not resigned, not cut and then signed.)

because those players were cut by their previous teams (not contract expired) they don't count in the comp pick discussion.

also you are missing Ihedibo who did start several games for the Pats. Not sure that's worth a comp pick. In the end the Jets are probably looking at a couple of 6 and couple of 7s for their losses.

Who all was cut? I don't think Smith, Edwards, Ellis, Coleman or Cotchery were cut. Did they not all lapse into free agency? Hartsock may very well have been cut.

One fellow that was doing a projection for this years draft had the Jets getting 5 or 6,6,7,7. I'll be pretty happy if we get an extra 3 picks or so.

Looking at the formulas people were talking about it was a net win or loss of FA's and then the value of that was according to their salary and performance.

We are well ahead in the plus minus department. We will probably get at last two or three picks with Ellis being the most valued of the group.
