The "List Of Things The Jets Have Said About Each Other" Thread

Before we lose track due to the sheer amount of them, let's maintain a list of the words and actions that the team has taken against itself:

Namath signals the alarm after Oakland "You keep telling a player how good he is, he’s going to start believing it to the point
that he may not be preparing quite the way he should."
Moore made captain halfway through season.
Ryan says "the stupidest play in NFL history.”
Schottenheimer says "In reality, Mark kind of got fooled."
Jacobs "Shut up fat boy."
Jenkins "When toughest player on team is the coach, you've got problems."
Santonio implosion in Miami.
Holmes "I was tapped on the shoulder so I came out."
Rex "I wasn't aware of the offense, I was focused on the defense."
Cromartie points finger "talk to the offense".
Scott flips bird, wants out.
Sanchez speaks company line.
Revis "leave me alone, won't talk".
Rex cries in front of team.
Cotchery on Santonio "I don't know that guy."
Rex says "too many captains, that was my big mistake".
Jenkins "no toughness on this team".
McElroy "selfish, corrupt, disconnected locker room."
Tomlinson intimates he's not coming back, needs a win-now team.
Manish article 'unnamed sources' Sanchez lazy.
Rex says "out of touch with team".
Rex says "not going to change, gotta be me."
Woody "they should be (in turmoil)".
Mason questions Sanchez.
Callahan leaves.
Weeks leaves.
Schottenheimer resigns.
Smith "The Maybeast" Intern resigns.
Higgins resigns.
Tomlinson "They created this. This is the type of football team that they wanted."
Tomlinson "Something that happened 3rd or 4th week of season and nobody knew because the players kept it under wraps."
Tomlinson on Rex: "I would prefer him not to say it (calling out other teams) as much as he did."
Woody “I don’t think the whole locker room was toxic,”
Revis “Basically, he didn’t know a lot of things that were going on behind the scenes. It was just so much stuff. I’m really not going to get into it because some of the stuff is real deep. But he didn’t know a lot of the things. He wanted people to say things to him. But obviously it didn’t come out. It came out on the field.”

You're being passive again. Just state your point and don't be coy about it.

In fact, we should just put all your threads into one section because you're essentially saying the same thing in all of them.

I wanted LT to come back. But by the way he is talking I dont think he wants any part of this team. And that is the Jets loss, not his. They need him badly.

Sure, happy to do so:

In the past week, I've crossed the line from "Rex did some good things and just needs to change" to "Rex is the problem, he's destroyed the team."

Still need a list to keep track of it all, lest we forget next season when all of these callouts are still valid and we're a 4th place team in the AFC East.

Did Reggie Bush sign a multi-year deal in Miami? Or just a one-year?

You forgot Lil Jeff Weeks on your list of NYJ War of 2011 Casualties. Why did he get fired again?

"Come out" as in "A player tapped me on the shoulder and I was taken out of the game".

Sorry for the confusion. I'll edit the entry.

I think it was 2yrs for $10mm.

BTW I was referring to veteran leadership. Unless the Jets want to have some fun with KK I dont think Bush is a fit.

Fine. That's fair. Now that you've made that point known, don't start any other threads leading to the same point. It's sort of a waste logically.

You've made your point known, you think you're authorized to dictate what posters can and cannot do. It's more of a waste, logically.

Find another poster to stalk, find another thread to entertain yourself in.

It's more than a lack of a sense of humor. Looks like it's time for this copy/paste:

Oh, and there's a fourth type of Jets fan on JI....

4. Bitter, humorless, judgmental I'm-better-than-you Jets fans who think it's their job to tell other Jets fans how to express themselves on a social website whose very purpose is the engagement of varied fan interaction as a form of f-cking entertainment.

I may not be SAR, but I'll state my point.

People wanted the cartoon pictures of their head coach with the caption "IT'S GO TIME" underneath. People wanted a coach that would speak his mind and proudly announce so because it speaks to the "common man." People wanted a guy who talked a big game against our hated rivals and would make promises to lead us into the promise land.

We'll, congratulations, you got him. And at least for me, he has overstayed his welcome. You'll be seeing things differently in a couple of years. Me? I'm a bit ahead of the curve.

The problem with this that I don't find it to be entertaining. And I don't think alot of other people find it to be entertaining. If someone decided to publicly behead chickens because one or two people found it entertaining, would you not do anything?

And before you state that I can ignore you, I dont know how to do that on this site. I f you could kindly help me, I would be obliged.

What is 'your problem' is not of any consequence as you have the choice either not read the thread or disregard what you read. Commenting on the poster who make the thread isn't an option.

To ignore me: Go to User CP (link on green bar under header), go to Settings & Options (on left side), go to Edit Ignore List.
