First off, it's the wife's car, we've got 3 kids and lots of sports equipment to lug around. It's the most expensive minivan money can buy, the safest too. While not as bad as last year's storm, today was interesting because it was looser snow and unplowed. Got to really put the Ody through her paces. I don't have Nokian studded snows (car is too new, they don't make them yet) so I had to take Blizzak's and I must say the traction was very good. Turns with limited fishtailing, in reverse on the completely untouched driveway cut through like butter. From a complete stop at an incline, the Honda's traction control is a bit too limiting, but with it switched off went nice and straight, a bit of a twist in the back but nothing too bad. Stopping was accurate and straight. Most people don't realize that one of the major benefits of dedicated snow tires is stopping ability almost moreso than traction. All in all, very pleased with the new van and the snow tires. It is now SAR rated for family use. SAR I
I am dying here. BTW, HTH did you photoshop the license plate...oh, iPad. nevermind |

Emailed the photo from the iPhone to the notebook, was already home when the blurring of the plate took place. I used to be able to photoshop on the iPad, but then I took an arrow to the knee. SAR I |

A guy who puts snow tires on a minivan. Then puts kids in the minivan and drives out in a snowstorm to see if the snow tires work. |

It's easy to unblur photos. Apps like Photoshop use an algorithm to apply effects like blurring, spinning/wheeling, etc. You can get the reverse algorithm to return parts of a picture to their original state. It's just not commercially available (i.e. law enforcement has them, hackers, etc.) |
