Don't know how much this means, from what I heard he's the son of the
Jets RB coach (Anthony Lynn) |

D'Anton Lynn, CB, Penn State
Height: 6-1. Weight: 200. Projected 40 Time: 4.49. Projected Round (2012): 4-5. 12/31/11: Lynn has 45 tackles on the season with six passes defended and one interception. He has had neither a bad season nor a standout year, just a rather average one. 8/25/11: D'Anton Lynn is entering his third season as a starter. He recorded three interceptions with four passes broken up. Lynn has good size and is a strong run defender. He recorded 75 tackles last season. In his sophomore season, Lynn had 35 tackles with five passes broken up and zero interceptions. He needs to improve his ball skills to improve his draft stock. Lynn's father is the Jets running backs coach. http://walterfootball.com/draft2012CB.php Explains why he is talking to the Jets.... D'Anton: How is my father? Jets: He's good Media: Jets talking to D'Anton.... That said, can he play Safety? |

His size certainly suggests it. ESPN has him listed at safety too.
After watching Lynn's father and how he conducts himself I'd be surprised if the younger Lynn isn't a good character guy. I'll be watching him close. Perfect type of guy to add later in the draft. I'll be paying particular attention to his athleticism and speed because with those tight ends at New england, we simply need excellent athleticism at linebacker and safety. |

^ I'm really intrigued with Doug Martin. Good build, seems NFL ready in terms of run, catch, pass pro, and he looks to have enough speed to get that ever so elusive Jets 40 yard run.
Is he a 2nd or 3rd round kind of guy? |

I wish I didn't have bobo Time Warner, or else I'd be plugged into NFL Network 24/7 these next coming months. |

Anthony Lynn DB Penn State Ht: 5115 Wt: 205 Hand: 8 3/8 Arm: 29 Tues: Lynn looks slow and has limited quickness in his game. Just not a lot there. http://www.draftinsider.net/blog/?p=6026 |
