I used to live in that area of CT --- pre-casinos so don't have any recommendations.

Some of my family still lives over in central CT so wave hello to Connecticut for me. :wavey:

I'm gonna go with the drinking/gambling/steak combo. That usually works while at a casino.

Just, for the love of god, don't get the steak charred. That will do you in right quick.

Don't go to Foxwoods for a lousy Fudruckers for Christ sake. Michael Jordan's for upscale steakhouse. His sports bar next door is not as good. Summer Shack for typical New England seafood or Bubba's BBQ for a faily decent Q. Avoid Todd English's Tuscany. Horrible.The Wolfs den has free music evenings so I like to gamble in that casino. There's a night club that gets cranking and crowded, especially on the weekend, if that's your thing.

Personally, I like to play blackjack ($10-15 tables) and craps, if I can find a $5 table.

Mohegan Sun is so much better than Foxwoods IMO. Have fun and win some money.

If you want some good pizza, go to Pepe's, they put a location in there a few years ago...the New Haven original is the best though, by far.
