I like Cousins but he's probably gone before 80...

That aside, Smith doesn't need to be brought back, he's already here But I'm sure you meant if you bring back Leonhard, release Smith...

And Chaz Shilens hasn't proven he can stay healthy... At all...

Yeah but all this Braylon talk has me thinking that a 4th WR who is tall, cheap, and fast must be some kind of priority. Now we can throw injured in for both.

I'm fine with Smith staying tbh. He's someone who just hears stuff from the fans because someone has to hear stuff from the fans for the D's flaws that do exist. That and he's kind of misused without another starting quality safety on the roster.

Agreed on Cousins...same for Criner for me too...I just wanted to throw their names out.

Alternate with the same FAs:

1: Melvin Ingram OLB/LB
2: Vinny Curry DE/OLB
3: Markus Zusevics OT - Underrated RT/OL prospect.
4: George Ilokas S - Possibly/probably(?) goes a little higher.
5: Brian Quick WR
6: Greg Childs WR
7: Tyler Neilsen LB

Add in FA:

Josh Johnson QB

Most mocks i've seen have Criner gone by the 4th.

Meh on the Adams pick. Upshaw, Ingram, Floyd, Richardson, one of those guys will be there. We cant take Adams over them.

Also do not want any part of Burfict even in the 2nd. The guy is a crazy person.

If Eric Smith is back I might not watch football.

Like the FA pickups minus Schillens.

You tell Smith it's the league minimum or you walk. Think that saves us about $1 mil in cap space.

Would love it if we went OLB in first and second rounds. We also love it if we simply went OLB and ILB in Rds 1 and 2. Could Zusevics start on day 1?

Love your first mock draft, particularly the first, second, fourth and fifth picks. I question whether Burfict or Iloka would slip that far, but stranger things have happened.

Not signing Westerman or Maybin?? If we do, we bring in 5 OLB?

I like the strategy of the first draft, minus Cousin, even though I like him as a player. Put a OLB DE in there

This would be ok for me minus Schillens in FA (prefer healthy Braylon) and we need a proper RT.

Beyond Richardson I might gladly take Adams over these guys...depends. I'm not an Upshaw in a 3-4 fan, I think Ingram is overrated, Floyd is iight but there's plenty of WRs.

I like Zusevics alot. That's a tough question to answer. Iowa OL are really well coached and he's got the physical tools to translate. He could get f'd as a pass protector if Sanchez doesn't improve, because there aren't many who are going to step in and be great there.

Trying it again with the same FAs except I'll go Doucet at WR and Josh Johnson at QB:

1: Trent Richardson - It's the "hey he fell mock!" I guess. Tss?

2: Vinny Curry - DE/OLB who can play pass rusher early on.

3: Markus Zusevics - No really, I like this prospect alot as a mid-round RT option. Props to CBNY for throwing him out as a name a while back.

4: Jarius Wright - WR from Arkansas. I think the general opinion is that he's the best WR prospect of the three guys over there. Possibly goes higher.

5: Christian Thompson - SC St. DB prospect has size, speed, and tools. Might go higher?

6: Tank Carder - Experienced TCU LB is smart, versatile, and generally speaking a good student for Ryan to take on. Underrated?

7: Phillip Welch K

Tyvon Branch will never make it to free agency. Raiders will get a deal done before freeagency ever starts- Hes a must signing. Only 25 with his best football still ahead of him.
