I used to feel bad for those who bought A Murrell jerseys during the 97-98 offseason. He was one of the Jets who was brought out to model our new/old jerseys and Starter sold them in the offseason.
Only problem was Parcells traded him away after stealing Martin from the Pats and he never played a single down in that uni. Hard to do worse than that. |

I know not football-related, but remember when Jordan came back from retirement to play again for the Bulls, and the league said he couldn't have #23 because it had already been retired? So he has to wear #45 for a season, and I see all these Bulls #45 jerseys on the streets and at games. Then - oops! - go ahead Michael, says the league, #23 is OK to use again. Never mind about that #45 - suckers!

For me, the one that hurt the most was Vilma ... I had high hopes he'd be a long time Jet ... so wrong.
McCareins was the worst though .. by a mile. Good Ones ... Martin Keller O'Brien |

LOL, his entire Wiki entry: Ronald Faurot (born January 27, 1962 in Wichita, Kansas) is a former professional American football defensive lineman who played two seasons for the New York Jets in the National Football League. He currently owns and manages Broncos Sports Bar and Grill in Bedford, Texas. And if you have complaints about some of our recent drafts, go look at our first rounders from '83 - '88 (with the exception of Toon, of course). Beyond cringe-worthy. Russell Carter, Dave Cadigan, et al. I had managed to forget about those clowns over the years. Still remember a Jets "highlight" tape from the early 90's with the OL coach (I think) yelling at Cadigan, "Compete Caidgan, compete". Awesome highlight. |

Our beloved Mark Sanchez. Jersey is in my driveway and I park on top of it everynight. It went from my body to being thrown out the window sometime in early December. I'll never wear it again.
On the other hand the best? Curtis Hall of Fame Martin! |

I had one that I'm sure few could top...Steve Atwater.
Also was in the Justin McCaerins club. Had/maybe still have a Carrie Rhodes Had a Keyshawn back in the day. Had a kelly green Chrebet that I more or less wore out. Currently have fauxthentic Green Shonn Greene and White DK81. I think a Green Hitman is next and the misses (who isn't quite a fan as much as a supporter) wants a Nick Mangold (she is from Ohio and a buckeye fan). |
