The Shah was friendly to both the USA and Israel. Since the takeover by the Ayatollas they have funded a proxy war against Israel through their surrogate Hezbollah. They continue to fund and are the Hamas terrorists in the south as well. They have orchestrated attacks against US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as taking hundreds of Americans hostage. You consider that a peaceful neighbor? Then you post a list of wars that took place prior to 1979 as your evidence? Are you serious? There are people here that understand these issues. If you want to speak on a topic with some seriousness you should research the topic before you speak. |
From what I've read, it was introduced into that network by someone friendly to the West and/or Israel. I'd be willing to bet that the AV signature was released as soon as the Iranians discovered it. I wouldn't worry about it destroying the Innernetz...
Per the people at Homeland Security, they're very worried indeed. The recipe for how to target our own infrastructure has been laid out for our enemies to exploit. Don't be surprised if some major dam shuts down or an electrical grid... there was real concern that once this methodology was out there it would be a boomerang. |

With peaceful neighbors like these, who needs enemies?
"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." JFK 1962. Once again your truth is only partially correct. Iran took back their democratically elected gov't that was overthrown in 1953. 22 years of the brutal Shah regime was enough for the Iranians. More reason why the USA does not need 'entangling alliances' as Jefferson stated. Furthermore, Israel is not a 'peaceful' neighbor as my previously posted link informed some here. |

If you want to speak on a topic with some seriousness you should research the topic before you speak.
The Shah was nothing more than a puppet for the USA. His regime was brutal to the Iranian people: http://www.angelfire.com/home/iran/savak.html If you understood the seriousness of the situation you would gather all of the facts and then post something that people here could learn from. I really don't care what or where the nation is, the USA should not be taking US tax payer dollars and support dictators that the victimized nation(s) do not like. Too much downside in that equation. As for my seriousness, I spent 6 yeas as a US Marine. I have a degree in engineering and I run my own business. That is a boat load of 'seriousness' right there imo for starters. |

listing any conflict between Israel and Lebanon without taking into account the uncountable violations, such as Israeli jets flying all over there air space is rather disingenuous. much like reporting of violence by militants is often mentioned with the laughable phrase "after a lull in the violence". As if no violence against by the colonial power the day before, the week before, and the month before does not count. On both sides there are those who want peace and those who have zero interest in peace. The problem is the people in the drivers seat on both sides. |

Their president should be ashamed he let it happen. Wait, who was the President of the State of Palestine in 1946? I wiki'd it but the Country of Palestine doesn't show up. In all seriousness thank you for your unbiased information from some fabricated jpg from an anti-semitic website called zionism explained. Do you have any information on why the Germans gassed 6 million jews in the Holocaust? Maybe you can go to the Nazi Party website and get us some information. I heard those jews were plotting something so thats why they had to burn. You agree? |

Overflying Egypt when Nasser ordered Od Bull to pull the Peacekeepers out of the Sinai in 67? Overflying Syria and Egypt in 1972? Lebanon, today, has a terrorist organization armed with rockets and missiles sitting in its southern territory. The day Lebanon exercises its sovereignty over south Lebanon by enforcing a monopoly on the use of force is the day Israeli jets can stop overflying the south. |

I should have been more clear but i posted while stoned, which explains why i would even get into such a misfit argument. I just fail to understand why the United States should attack Iran because some Israeli's (not all) are claiming Iran is making an nuke. I guess war is the health of the state, pax americana. |
