which is why he'll be cheap. not that i'm excited about him, but i just don't think this is an offseason for any jets fans to get excited about.

has 4.38 speed at 6ft 4 and 225. he has had injury problems since being drafted. The guy is said to have amazing hands and is a tremendous blocker.

We're going to have some serious problems if we're relying on Chaz Schilens as our #2 receiver.

why? are you worried he might beat out Sanchez? I am only concerned with the Jets winning. I want the best QB to emerge in camp to be our starter. I doubt Henne will come here though. He wants a clear shot at being a #1 QB. I doubt he'd get it here after the contract extension Mark just signed!

Merriweather is the bottom of the Safety barrel but we're desperate and he's a solid athlete. If he knows some New England Patriots defensive plays from two years ago, then bonus. Signing him makes sense, but I'd not be thrilled about it.
