The JI Poll: Romney v. Obama
Just wondering how people come out on this given my discussion with Warfish. I'll do a poll for Paul, Gingrich, and an Evangelical conglomerate: PERrysANTORumbachMAN

Romney. Because he is the only one who can beat Obama. Maybe.
The perfect is the enemy of the good. There is no ideal candidate for Republicans. |

Rasmussen's latest polling continues to indicate that is the trend. Romney pulls me, Leprechaun, and PK over to the (R) side of the aisle. The only one who exerts a similar pull on potential Obama voters is Paul (grabs PK, Sharrow, and IntelligentJetsFan), but Paul also pushes others into Obama's column in an anti-Paul vote.

I would never "Stay Home," but my vote would essentially be a throw away as I vote 3rd party / independent / Paul write in.
Obama and Romney are the same politicians. If this is the match up, I'm voting symbolically anti-establishment. |

Santorum
"You win by giving people a choice. You win by giving people the opportunity to see a different vision for our country, not someone who's just going to be a little different than the person in there," Santorum told supporters in San Antonio. "If you're going to be a little different, we might as well stay with what we have instead of taking a risk with what may be the Etch A Sketch candidate of the future."
|

I am so disappointed in Obama. I drank all the Koolaid and now I have a stomach ache.
Problem is all of his opponents leave a lot to be desired. I try to force myself to like Santorum but he has gone way too far. He is off the deep end now. Romney is a fence jumping tool. I would have more respect for him if he would just commit to something, even if I disagree with it. Can I vote neither? |

I said stay home. Romney would be the third head of the Bush/Obama 12 years of ugh. Can you guys realy believe that. Whoever wins between Obama and Romney will give us 16 years of downward spiral in the white house. 16 years. Ugh
