ok so since we know that the Giants open up at home on Wednesday there is a good chance we open up at home also.

Rumor has it that Denver is getting the Sunday Night game - who do we open up with and when?

My guess is home vs Miami or Buffalo on Sunday afternoon.

It will be Denver at New England on Monday night.

Manning's first game back versus Brady.

Can't write a better script than that.

I could see Denver hosting Steelers (rematch) or maybe the Saints (if Parcells is coach) on Sunday Night.
Jax, Tenn, and St Lou will be fun road trips. I only hope the offense gets blown up and rebuilt.
I will personally organize a JI get together Saturday nite in TENN. IMO...Great place for a game. Don't need a car, tons of bars, barbecue etc.

went to Jets/Titans when Favre and Co. beat them down. Great Jets fan turnout. Great city -- nightlight, food and especially ease in getting to the game from the hotel.
My initial reaction as usual

between 9-7 and 11-5 with the Colts and 49ers games being the swingpoints.

That's a very easy schedule
IS THIS A JOKE-POST????
The Colts will be 0-16 this year, even with Luck.
They have ZERO chance of beating us. That is one of your "swing" games???
Are you sure you really mean that???
49ers game is surely a "swing" game, agreed. But you were joking about the Colts game, right?

I am officially RSVP'd to join you for BBQ for that game.
I am stopping on Sat afternoon to finally see Graceland, so I do need a car.

Or Denver at the Raiders. First it Peyton manning first game in a Bronco uniform. Second Raiders new head coach (Dennis allen) was last year Bronco DC. There are two games on Monday night the early one and the late one. Denver going to be one of the games and they are going to play a team on the West coast . Houston Texans at Denver Broncos could be second game on Monday night.(if not Raiders)

You figure the Jets will be one of the early Monday night game. Tebow factor sells and people tend to watch. Jets at New england. Jets at the Titans. Jets at Miami.

Raiders??

first Monday night game??

Not in the cards especially since the lights at the broken down old municipal dump the Raiders play in in Oakland probably don't work that well any more

Jets at Miami would make sense due to the Tebow/Sporano factor. But I don't think MNF wants to have the opener to be between two teams that did not make the playoffs last season.
