I agree that D'Antoni was going to be history anyway...but I'm continually troubled by this matter of fact acceptance that certain players in sports can decide when and where they will apply themselves despite huge contracts.

There seems to be some sort of unspoken exemption for these types.

I'm happy about this, Melo trying to fit in D'Antoni's system was like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. He had Melo out of his comfort zone and didn't use him right.

I am interested in seeing this team play the rest of the season with Mike Woodson, so far tonight they are playing great.

I saw (the biggest douche of the 20th Century) Chris Webber and Latrell Sprewell pull their bologna on Don Nelson...which led to the horrible state of NBA affairs in my life. The last team I watched all the way from March through June was the 2004 Pistons with Wallace etc.

The Warriors are all I have. No Mets, no Jets really. And they stink.
