Washington fell to Tampa tonight, which means it's basically a lock that the Devils are taking on the Panthers in the first round. Despite being the lower seed, this is a series the Devils should definitely win.

Agreed, but I don't think it will be easy. Florida gave them fits a couple times this year.

No doubt. However, I have more confidence in this Devils team than I have in the last several years and I believe they win this series.

Devils clinched the 6th seed tonight, but on a bad note, lost Josefson with a fractured wrist. That hurts, as he's really been playing well lately and was a great option as a 4th line center. I also feel bad for him since he's had some tough breaks with the injuries.
