No problem with what Revis said at all. And Pats fans shouldn't have a problem with it either. Rex is a big mouth, Belichick is a jerk....facts are facts. Objective people can agree on things like that.

Not even close.

Those two losses to the Giants were absolutely brutal, especially '07.
Here's how the world knows this is a lie:

Go to the main Giants message board. Count how maybe Patsie trolls they have with 50,000 posts. Count the total number of Patsie trolls with even a handful.

You'll find none.

A team and a fanbase obsessed

Nothing like the scorn of the jilted lover I see.

Funny thing is, if the Jets hadn't tried to pull off the sleazy move of having Parcell "step down" to be a "consultant", BB would have likely stayed on as HC and who knows what would have happened going forward.

Disagree...Jets are in same division, play 2x a year.

According to TX, there has been no real competition between the 2 teams the last 10 years.

Let us Jets, Bills and Dolphins frolic amongst ourselves in irrelevancy.

We'll never know, but I think Belichick was gone in any event, because of the uncertainty of Hess and the sale of the team. Kraft offered greater security. Can't bash Belichick for that, even though a lot of people do. Personally, I'm not a Belichick fan because of the cold manner in which he runs the team and the patronizing demeanor that he generally displays. Rex, on the other hand, is disliked by many because of his brash demeanor, almost the polar opposite of Belichick. This chasm of a personality difference further fuels the Patriot/Jet rivalry. Good for the league, good for the media, and good for the fans. It's also great fun to butt heads with Pats fans on this board, and I'm really glad you guys are around.

I should add that while I don't criticize BB for leaving, I do think the way he did it was sorely lacking in class.

True. Rex is 3 times, maybe 4 times the man BB is, even after he got his stomach stapled.

An example of Belichick being a jerk. Spygate, Belichick was told several times to stop what he was doing. Belichick, thinking he was bigger than the NFL kept playing his little game until Goodell showed him who was boss. This IMO is the worst type of jerk, to put yourself ahead of everyone who has worked so hard to build up that brand.

Revis should shut his mouth because if he looks in the mirror he will see someone who has no problem putting himself ahead of the team.

I think Rex an Tanny should have a chat with Revis.

He is right about Beli, but he is wrong for saying it publicly. We need to be better than this. Above the BS that means nothing.

What no one is reporting is that after Belicheat's "S my dick." comment on the field after the game,
Tom Brady overheard it and actually formed a line in front of Belicheat.
Much ado about nothing.

Seriously.

Meaningless garbage.
You're wrong, so wrong.

But then again, you probably don't remember the Parcells' years with the Jets, that's when the rivalry really started, and then it took off in the early 2000's
For the record, BB said this to his son as he walked off the field in what he thought was a private moment. A mediot over heard it, and of course reported it.

Given all the crap he's taken from the Jet and their HC, (you don't think think that the Jets players and coaches said a few unkind things immediately after the playoff win in 2010 that the Pats FO and players might not have liked???) its kind of understandable given the initial moments after a big win, one might say something like that.

Clearly Revis took offense, and I have no problem with it. Except that was last season. GET OVER IT. You played the Pats twice and your defense couldn't keep them under 30 points in two games. Own it Darelle....or do something about it. Stop WHINING about it, like a little girl who was told that Janie said something bad about here in the girls bathroom.

Its not like BB said in a presser. It wasn't personal......and ultimately, what he said was the truth. Just another example that the Jets can dish it out, but they can't take it.
ROFLMAO

And there he goes again

Leave my team alone, don't you think the Jets said some mean things, and upset my team's feelings.. AAAAAAAAAAHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

You are shameless.

When the Jets talk, when Rex talks, Pats fans are screaming for Rex to STFU.

When the Pats talk, "it's ok, they were only acting out of emotion off of a big win."

That happens to be an accurate statement.

The Jets haven't won an outright AFCE title since 1998.
