If their was a thread where everyone was saying how great mark is and did not blame his o-coordinator, RT, wr's, rex, running game, etc etc etc. Then I would not be in it but as long as they blame the others I have a right to debate. I think you're full of ****.

And I'm still waiting for a link to any article from 2011 that quoted the FO or CS saying that Sanchez would be in "more control" of the offense.

What nonsense, are you for real?

I'd bet you'd find a way to get Tebow into a thread about tonights Devils/Rangers game.

You're a troll, live with that
For those of you that think Tebow is the answer if Sanchez struggles...ask yourself if you want or think he is the long-term solution behind center? That's something I believe that Tebow lovers, both Jet and non-Jet fans fail to consider. I'm on the side of in no way shape or form should he be behind center in the immediate and/or long term future. Also, remind yourselves that Tom Brady and the Patriots reside in the division. Is Tebow the guy to get them past the Patsies? We don't know for sure, but at least we know what Sanchez is capable of as he has shown already in his first 3 years and 2 AFC Championship games.

Enough of the "he's a winner" non-sense. He hasn't won anything. The Broncos defense was the key to Denver's glorious 8-8 season. It's funny how Sanchez loses the last 3 games of the season last year, and he should be drawn, quartered, and shipped out, but Tebow loses the last 3 games of his season, wins a pathetic division in the process, and he's the second coming.

I wonder if there is any rational thought left from Tebow lovers? I hope he does a bang-up job in the wildcat, but please do not start this man.
Anyone know what Bill Belichick's record is facing Tim Tebow?
Your personal attack has been noted.
Attack? Sorry, no attack. Simple question. Giving up on a season 4 months before it starts is displaying a losers attitude in anyones book.
Its called being realistic bro. With Brady and bellichek and that roster, they are 13-3 easily. In your land of homerville, the Jets are going 14-2 and winning the division.

The rest of us in reality will hope for a 10 or 11 win season at best and try to do some damage as a wildcard.
I believe it was a bad move to bring in Tebow, and I believe I "know" football. The locker room issue is on Rex for not knowing about it and nipping it in the bud. Why is everyone so impressed with Tebow ? Loves the gym ? Drinks water instead of champagne ? He's a winner ?No other Jets have a great attitude and carry themselves with professionalism? No other winners on the Jets ? No other winners in the NFL ? Why does the media love this guy so much ?He's been built up by the media to be a saint that can do no wrong who poops vanilla ice cream cones. C'mon guys don'y buy into the hype.
Somehow Tim Tebow never banging a woman is supposed to be like a badge of honor or something. I dunno maybe I'm old school but we used to laugh at any 20-something yr old guy who was a virgin.

Which game did Tebow face up against Belichick? Was it checkers, golf, tennis, poker, Madden, etc?

I don't see the Pats winning more than 10 or 11 games next year and I am really not being a homer. When the Pats are good I'm the first to admit it. I think the Pats were way overrated last season and had an easy schedule. Things are going to catch up with them.

Which is what insecure 20 year olds do.

Who thinks that Tebow couldn't get laid tonight, this afternoon or in an hour if he wanted to.

Really.

No skippy that's what normal 20-something year olds do. They bang chicks and have fun. They don't waste their time Twittering, playing Call of Duty 24/7 or memorizing the bible.

But hey I guess I'm not a hip member of this Gen Y thing.

Sorry if that's not level-headed enough for you.
There is nothing about that t-shirt that violates any copyright law. The NFL Not one element in the design is a copy of anything used by the team or league.
Even Stevie Wonder could see the likeness to the Jets logo, the NY in the logo, the #15 etc. Its clear enough to anyone with 1/10 of a brain.

Goes way beyond just using a green oval.

Doesn't have to be a blatant copy of their logo.

No, anyone who thinks Tebow choosing too hold onto his virginity is the same as a pimply faced kid not being able to get laid is a complete & utter moron.

He could bang more hot babes than you could shake a stick at. The difference, he could do anything you can do, only on a higher scale, in a second.

You could do nothing that he could or will do. So you can laugh at whatever he does while he out earns you, lives better than you, etc, etc.

That the point, ok Skippy?
Actually, they do have the green oval, in the shape of a football as part of the logo, as well as the *angled* JETS font..that is copyrighted too.

Fact is, the avatar you have is probably an infringement, but since no one is probably making a profit off of it, I doubt you will get a C& D order..

No one can just open a shop, hang out shirts with NFL logos (or similar) and advertize them as such and such a team t shirts, and/or use a popular player's name in the advertizement, even if he is the most hated player on the team.

Did you happen to check the link I posted in the post before yours.. the NFL has now sent them a C&D order... I am pretty sure they will stop selling these now.

If you post a video with NFL content on Youtube, they will eventually get around to taking it down..it has happened to me before..same way with the NCAA and the SEC.. Hell, even the Allman Bros said I was using their songs without permission..LOL, which I was..so I gave them credit, they don't care anymore.
The font is a Helvetica Black Italic, manually adjusted to a 29 degree angle. The Jets own that font with the word Jets spelled out, and thats it.

If my avatar is infringement, than my Jets Tattoo is too. I hope the league doesn't take possession of my arm. LOL

If this were to go to a court room, the league would lose. The Jets actually hired a firm to produce a full typeface with the 29 degree angle and its named Nitro. The Jets own that font set, but not a font that looks similar to nitro.
Ok, now I'm in just because I can't stand to see the NFL bully a couple of cubby fans looking to have some fun while trying to make a few bucks.
Ive been around the business side of the NFL long enough now to realize that the NFL is nothing more than a big merchandising operation. The top priority of all 32 teams is to generate as much revenue as possible from merchandise sales.

Several teams, have their employee bonus structured around the success of their merchandising success. Thats why even though Im a Jets fan, I root for the Hawks to do well, so people buy their goods. To be honest, they Seahawks 7-9 Division championship is what funded my trip to the AFC Championship game in Pittsburgh.

Sales is what motivates every front office to want to field a good team. The more a team win, the more stuff the fans buy.

False.

First, the Logo is clearly based off of the Jets logo. That's copyright infringement (creation of a derivative work) and not at all fair use or parody.

Second, there are real elements of Trademark infringement, as people may wrongly assume the Tshirts are Jet-authorized merchandise.

Third, there are likeness rights/publicity issues, since people may assume they are Tebow authorized merchandise. (And spare me any "there's no connection" nonsense; the shirts only appeared after Tebow did)
